Our Story

Once upon a time, Rebecca was managing The Studio Boulder, where, by pure coincidence, Jesús’s company rented an office.

Let’s not call it love at first sight. But when Rebecca saw him, there was definitely something. A spark. A curiosity. Or whatever you call it when you suddenly develop very legitimate reasons to walk past the same office several times a day.

Over the next few months, Rebecca was convinced she was being subtle. She stopped by his office. Invited him to community events. Casually dropped a pencil nearby like it was part of her job description. It was later confirmed that none of this was subtle. Not even close.

After a steady stretch of conveniently timed run-ins and very intentional invitations, Jesús picked up on two key facts: Rebecca played soccer, and she liked to pretend she knew how to salsa dance. One pickup game and one slightly chaotic salsa night later, it was clear there was something there.

The rest unfolded the way the best things do. Slowly, naturally, and then all at once.

We became partners, best friends, pawrents to ashy-bear, and each other’s steady ground on the hard days. Somehow, a not-so-subtle strategy turned into a life we genuinely love building together.
